Obsession: Justin's Maple Almond Nut Butter
This stuff is ridiculous. Justin's Maple Almond Nut Butter is addictive like Nutella but is found in the conscious-easing organic aisle. (Do not read the ingredients in Nutella. Don't.) I don't even think this Justin's tastes like maple: just sweetened almond goodness that I want to put on toast, bananas, apples, pretzels... Just about anything will work as a vehicle to get this stuff into my mouth.
Be warned: this almond butter may take over your diet for a while. When I first tried it I found ways to work it into every meal: breakfast was toast with almond butter, lunch was a sandwich with almond butter, evening snacks were pretzels or fruit covered in almond butter.
Hear me: I am not saying you replace all your meals with almond butter. Almonds are great for you but Justin's Maple Almond Nut Butter is still about 80% fat (nuts!). Just use it in small amounts as a garnish for your food. Don't eat it all the time, even though you will want to.
And note that Justin's makes a plain almond butter. I haven't tried that one. My obsession is focused specifically on Justin's Maple Almond Nut Butter, which, according to the label is also the owner's favorite.
(I just signed up to test Amazon's referral/affiliate program so if you buy the Justin's through the links on this page, you will get delicious organic yumminess while supporting my blog. Win for everybody!)
